The American Journal of Nursing (AJN) has joined with the Gerontological Society of America (GSA) on a grant funded by Atlantic Philanthropies to develop a bimonthly, continuing education series providing evidence-based information on the nursing care of older adults. Over the next three years, the series, called A New Look at the Old, will provide readers with cutting-edge research and best practice information designed to stimulate changes in institutional, as well as individual, practice. A third partner, PRIMEDIA Healthcare, has also joined with AJN and GSA to produce satellite broadcasts based on the A New Look at the Old Series and make them available via satellite and webcast. Both the journal articles and the webcasts are freely accessible to all health professionals. - Generations
