• Andrus Gerontology Center
  The Andrus Gerontology Center was erected as a tribute to Ethel Percy Andrus and its mission is to prepare professionals to work in an aging society by providing gerontological education. It is affiliated with the Leonard Davis School of Gerontology at the University of Southern California.
• Brookdale Center on Aging
  The Brookdale Center on Aging of Hunter College, located in New York City, works through its multidisciplinary team of social workers, nurses, lawyers, educators, and ethicists to provide training and a blend of theory and practice to staff at all levels within the aging network.
• Consortium of New York Geriatric Education Centers
  The CNYGEC represents the partnership and combined resources of Columbia University, New York University, Maimonides Medical Center, Mt. Sanai/NYU Medical Center, the Brookdale Center on Aging of Hunter College, New York College of Podiatric Medicine and SUNY College of Optometry. The consortium's mission is to improve and expand geriatric health care with an emphasis on minority, multi-ethnic, low income and under-served elderly throughout New York State by providing knowledge and training to health care professionals and academic faculty.
• GeriU
  GeriU is the first Online Geriatric University dedicated specifically to the provision of accurate and timely information on aging issues. The site is content-driven, community oriented, and focused on the provision of the most current information on aging issues. Recognizing the varying educational and informational needs of its target users, GeriU personalizes content and access at all levels on an ongoing basis, taking formal requirements into account, as well as individualized needs and preferences.
• Gerontological Nursing Interventions Research Center
  The GNIRC is located at the University of Iowa and provides training opportunities, conferences, research support and information dissemination. Affiliated with the Morris Research Laboratory, it provides access to books, manuals, journals and research instruments in the field of gerontological nursing.
• Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing
  The John A. Hartford Foundation Institute for Geriatric Nursing is the only nurse-led institute in the country seeking to improve the quality of the nation's health care for older Americans. The Hartford Institute has developed partnering programs, models, and resources to positively influence both the individual nurse's competence and the systems in which nurses learn and work. The Hartford Institute is a partner in the Nurse Competence in Aging initiative.
• Medscape Nurses
  Medscape Nurses is the online nursing resource from WebMD. To access the geriatric resource section a free registration is required.
• National Association of Geriatric Education Centers
  NAGEC is an association that promotes better health care for older people by informing the public about aging-related issues. Comprised of the national network of 45 GECs funded by HRSA's Bureau of Health Professions; Division of Associated, Dental, and Public Health Professions; Interdisciplinary, Geriatrics, and Allied Health Branch, it offers health professions educators and community practitioners professional development opportunities in aging.
• National Institute on Aging
  A component of the National Institutes of Health, the National Institute on Aging is dedicated to improving the health of older people. Leading the federal effort on aging research, the NIA provides information and funding opportunities along with consumer oriented information on a wide range of topics that are important to older people and their families.
• Providence Center on Aging
  Located in Portland, Oregon, the Providence Center on Aging offers a wide range of services, such as classes, medical assessments, clinical studies and housing assistance, to meet the differing needs of seniors.
• Reynolds Center on Aging
  The Reynolds Center on Aging is located on the Little Rock campus of the University of Arkansas for Medical Science (UAMS). This center is working to promote functional independence in older people and prepare for the aging of the baby boom generation through clinical care, research and educational programs. They work primarily with the Reynolds Senior Health Care Center.
• Wayne State University Institute of Gerontology
  Started from a state of Michigan mandate, the Institute of Gerontology emphasizes increasing knowledge about aging, improving the practice of gerontology, and influencing public policy. They conduct independent and collaborative research and regularly host seminars and other events, which address numerous aspects of aging.
