Their work consists of shaping attitudes, policies and practices regarding health care for older people.
• American Association of Colleges of Nursing
  The American Association of Colleges of Nursing is the national voice for America's baccalaureate and higher degree nursing education programs. Their goal is to establish quality education standards, influence nurses to improve health care and increase public support of nursing.
• ElderWeb
  ElderWeb is designed as a research site for both professionals and family members looking for information on eldercare and long term care. Elderweb includes links to information on legal, financial, medical, and housing issues, as well as policy, research, and statistics
• Geriatric Video Productions
  Geriatric Video Productions is an educational video production company, produces and distributes innovative programs in geriatric healthcare. Geriatric Video Productions focuses on improving patient outcomes using an interdisciplinary approach to the most common behavior problems, diseases, drug management and ethical issues confronting geriatric healthcare workers today.
• GeroNet Health & Aging Resources for Higher Education
  Created through UCLA's Program in Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology, GeroNet provides links to resources including, UCLA's education resources, healthcare services and providers, and continuing education opportunities and resources in geriatrics and gerontology.
• Hartford Institute for Geriatric Nursing
  The John A. Hartford Foundation Institute for Geriatric Nursing is the only nurse-led institute in the country seeking to improve the quality of the nation's health care for older Americans. Resources include ready to use teaching materials for staff educators and nursing faculty.
• Last Acts
  Last Acts is a national coalition of organizations engaged in an unprecedented education campaign toimprove care for people who are dying and their families. Last Acts serves as a clearinghouse for sharing information and ideas at the national, state and local levels. Last Acts also provides a forum for discussion, collaboration and broad dissemination of new information.
• League for the Hard of Hearing
  League for the Hard of Hearing The League for the Hard of Hearing is the oldest hearing rehabilitation! in the world founded in 1910 in New York. For those who are hard of hearing or deaf, the League offers hearing rehabilitation and human services, and offers the family ways of communication and the faculty to pay for the services. The League's mission is to aid those of all ages with varying degrees of hearing loss.
• National Gerontological Nursing Association
  NGNA, an organization of nurses specializing in care of older adults, informs the public on health issues affecting older people, supports education for nurses and other health care practitioners, and provides a forum to discuss topics such as nutrition in long-term care facilities and elder law for nurses. NGNA offers information on gerontological nursing and conducts nursing research related to older people.
• National Institute on Aging - Age Pages
  A component of the National Institutes of Health, the National Institute on Aging is dedicated to improving the health of older people. Leading the federal effort on aging research, the NIA provides information and funding opportunities along with consumer oriented information on a wide range of topics that are important to older people and their families.
• Practicing Physician Education in Geriatrics
  The PPE project is dedicated to educating healthcare professionals and the public about the management of common geriatric conditions, emphasizing a collaborative provider-patient approach.
