The American Association of Colleges of Nursing is the national voice for America's baccalaureate and higher degree nursing education programs. Their goal is to establish quality education standards, influence nurses to improve health care and increase public support of nursing.

Last Acts is a national coalition of organizations engaged in an unprecedented education campaign toimprove care for people who are dying and their families. Last Acts serves as a clearinghouse for sharing information and ideas at the national, state and local levels. League for the Hard of Hearing The League for the Hard of Hearing is the oldest hearing rehabilitation! in the world founded in 1910 in New York. For those who are hard of hearing or deaf, the League offers hearing rehabilitation and human services, and offers the family ways of communication and the faculty to pay for the services. The League's mission is to aid those of all ages with varying degrees of hearing loss.
- National Gerontological Nursing Association
NGNA, an organization of nurses specializing in care of older adults, informs the public on health issues affecting older people, supports education for nurses and other health care practitioners, and provides a forum to discuss topics such as nutrition in long-term care facilities and elder law for nurses. NGNA offers information on gerontological nursing and conducts nursing research related to older people.

A component of the National Institutes of Health, the National Institute on Aging is dedicated to improving the health of older people. Leading the federal effort on aging research, the NIA provides information and funding opportunities along with consumer oriented information on a wide range of topics that are important to older people and their families.
