Results & Resubmission
If you score 80% or better on the test, a certificate will be mailed to you. If you score less that 80%, a copy of your test will be returned to you so that you can see the subject areas in need of improvement. You can retest at no additional charge. Please attach a note saying that you are resubmitting.

We suggest that you review your returned test and re-study those sections on ConsultGeriRn.org pertaining to those content areas where you need improvement. When you reach a score of 80%, you will receive your continuing education certificate.

Contact hour equivalencies

  • 1 CEU = 10 contact hours
  • 1 contact hour = 0.1 CEU
  • 1 contact hour = 50 minutes

 

 

POST-TESTS & EVALUATIONS
We have provided a post test for each relevant ConsultGeriRn.org topic. Each test can be used for your review purposes only AND can be used to acquire a contact hours and a certificate. The test is not in an electronic format; it is in "pencil/pen" format. You will need to print it out.

  • If you want to submit the test for continuing education contact house, please follow the instructions below.

 

 

FEES
Earned continuing education contact hours will be received from the Center for Continuing Education in Nursing at the New York University College of Nursing for a fee of $15 per topic. If you review and test for three or more topics, the fee will be $12 per topic. We estimate the review of the materials for one topic on ConsultGeriRn.org will provide approximately 1 contact hour.

New York University has been approved as a provider of continuing education by the New York State Nurses Association's Council on Continuing Education, which is accredited by the American Nurses' Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
